Disaster recovery can be an overwhelming task for even the strongest of individuals.

The Wadena County Humane Society is able to help, please call if you need assistance.
Help for animals is available through the Food Shelf for Pets assistance while you recover.
If you found or lost an animal, call (218) 632-5938 weekdays from 8:00 am to 12:noon,
or leave a detailed message and someone will respond to your call as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to call if you find a lost or misplaced animal that needs rescue.
Do Not Dump Animals, the shelter will accept animals during this time. A family may
be looking for the animal you have found and the animal may be looking for it's family.
To help create space for storm rescued animals, please adopt a shelter animal.
These are not animals that people have lost in the storms, but animals that have
been at the Humane Society waiting adoption before the Tornados happened.
